The experience where I learned the most.
RAM was a small business, which meant there was nowhere to hide. I worked directly with the founders/managing partners, took ownership of my own projects, and was pushed well beyond what I already knew. It was also my first office role where 55+ hour weeks were normal.
The pace was demanding, but I learned more in those months than I could have from a much more structured environment.
Real responsibility means owning the problem, not just completing the task you're given.

Then I got to build the tools.
I developed Python-based portfolio management and trading tools for the same investment club I had previously worked with as an analyst.
I realized I enjoy building the systems behind the analysis, not just using them.
